The best developers build things, I make stuff. It gets me focussed on other things: I made a 12 drawer platform bed, I made a media frame using an old monitor screen and a Raspberri Pi. I cleared out a closet and using half inch pipe made it into a thing of beauty. I find it great to see a project completed, it can be rather ego boosting.
